New guidelines consider it to be safer practice that all repeat prescription requests are put in writing rather than over the telephone. Please can you tick what medication you require on the right hand side of your script, which has all your details listed.
And either:
- Post it to us
- Put through the letter box
- Drop it into the box outside the Dispensary area.
- Online by using the NHS Wales App
The dispensary will dispense your medicines if you live over one mile from a pharmacy and are on our dispensing list, we also offer a delivery service. Patients are also able to collect their medication at The Health Centre.
Dispensing Patients will receive a text message to inform when Medications are ready for collection. If you have not received a text after 72 hours, it maybe because some medications have been unable to be sourced. Please then contact Dispensary either by email or telephone to enquire about your request.
Repeat prescription requests take 72 hours (3 working days) for processing. Please note, requests placed on a Friday afternoon will not be ready for collection until the following Tuesday. If attending an appointment with the doctor and you live over one mile away any acute prescription will be immediately dispensed.
