We are pleased to advise that we are due to start administering Covid-19 vaccinations to our qualifying patients soon. We have not received any vaccines as yet, but are expecting small quantities to be delivered over the next few weeks.
In line with Government guidance, we will be vaccinating patients in the following priority order:
- Residents in a care homes for older adults and their carers
- All those 80 years of age and over (starting with those age 90 and over first)
- All those 75 years of age and over
- All those 70 years of age and over and Shielding patients – (Clinically extremely vulnerable individuals not including pregnant women and those under 16 years of age)
- All those 65 years of age and over
- Adults aged 16 to 65 years in an at-risk group
- All those 60 years of age and over
- All those 55 years of age and over
- All those 50 years of age and over
We have 9500 patients and we ask you to please be patient and not contact the practice to enquire about receiving the vaccine, as all patients will be contacted by us and given an appointment at the appropriate time. Clinics will be held in the surgery or in the Plas Pigot, Denbigh.
Only the surgery will be contacting you regarding the Covid-19 vaccination. Please be vigilant regarding any potential scams and do not provide any personal information to anyone who may contact you to offer a vaccine. You cannot purchase this privately at the moment.
We are unable provide any vaccinations outside the Government Guidelines and we are required to strictly adhere to the order of the priority list, as above. Although the vaccines will be delivered in small quantities over the coming months, you have our assurances that we will endeavour to vaccinate our patients as soon as the stock is received.
