Patients (except for blister packs), need to order their repeat prescriptions directly through the surgery rather than through the pharmacy.
You are still able to collect your medication from the pharmacy.
By having patients order their repeat medication directly through the surgery, we can better manage medication requests, reduce the risk of errors, ensure that patients only receive what they require, which will avoid confusion, potential misuse, and unnecessary stockpiling of medication.
Pharmacies will still be able to order blister packs on behalf of patients. However, all other repeat prescriptions must be requested directly by the patient.
We offer several convenient options for you to request your repeat medication:
- Wales NHS App– Order your repeat prescriptions directly via the https://app.nhs.wales We can assist you in setting up an account if you experience any difficulties.
- Online Ordering– You can also order via the NHS App on our website: gpsurgery.net
- Email ordering– You can email your prescription request to: dispensary.w91033@wales.nhs.uk
- Drop-off– You can drop off your completed repeat prescription ordering slip at the surgery.
- Please note, we cannot accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions.
